Letter from the President:
I wish to thank everyone who attended the auction, especially all the Serra faculty
including our honorable Principal Mike Jimenez. We made over $20,000. I want
to specially thank Billy Fallon, our DJ for the night, Ron Leblanc and Steve
Thomson of Kasparweiss Baroque Duo for the awesome dinner music. Our live auctioneer,
the one and only Danny Morris, silent auction MC's Mark Murray and Marti Emerald.
Many thanks to Joe Schmidt who was our Tech expert for the evening. Our auction
committee headed by Ginger Tyson and Bo Lee engineered such a delightful evening.
They were assisted by EB Dembinski, Glenn Tyson, Tom Dembinski, Kim Gotfredson,
Barbara Lefkarites, Lori Olsen, Diana Tracy, April Loveccio, Alison Kahn, Mary
Ann Thomas, Sam Farrar, Rom Sarno, Dana Brown, Carol Eimers, Cara Furio, Tana
Keivens, Peter Duncan, Jennah Lintz, Maria Bayless and Jeff Thomas. Thank you
so much everyone for your hard work and dedication!

About the Auction
This annual event united several hundred
community and business leaders, school staff, coaches,
teachers and parents all of whom were dedicated to raising
funds for our academic and athletic programs.
The Serra High School Foundation is the major contributor
to Serra High School and over the last 21 years the foundation
has raised and donated almost $1,000,000 for Serra High School.
Fundraising provided for a wide variety of club, teams, projects,
academic needs and improvements to Serra High School. A list

Ways You Can Help
To ensure success
we must rely on the contributions and generosity of
others. Our next auction will be held in 2009. We would
sincerely appreciate your support in any of these areas:
- make a donation to
be used in the silent or live auction and receive an advertisement
in the Serra event program, press releases, and recognition
on the Serra Foundation website (view
donation ideas)
- attend the event
- become a Conquistador sponsor and/or
become a cash underwriter
- volunteer
to help out with the 2009 Auction by taking on
one of the many small jobs required to make the
event a success
