Learn How the SHS Foundation was Born

In 1990, past-president Robert Wright gave a speech to the Kiwanis Club of Tierrasanta. In this first-hand account of "the birth" of the Foundation, Robert describes how the dream of a few caring individuals developed into the organization we have today. Read the speech here.
